Hollywood star accompanying DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson for show
For an Independence Day gift, Mumbai could not have asked for anything as exciting as a visit from American actress, model and pop singer Lindsay Lohan. But, apparently, the Mean Girls star will be here, not on August 15, but the 18th. And she’s reportedly accompanying girlfriend DJ Samantha Ronson who is slated to be deejaying at the South-Central nightclub Blue Frog. Lindsay, however, will not be singing. Although the management of the nightspot refuses to confirm, the Hollywood star will be present at its premises. The buzz is that the show on the 18th will be attended by the Who’s Who of Mumbai showbiz, including the starcast of Bachna Ae Haseeno — Ranbir Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone and Minissha Lamba, plus other screen and television actors.
Lindsay, who is 22, and whose life has been the subject of tabloid journalism in the US, is romantically involved with Samantha. Though the singer-actress has never confirmed the relationship, the two are openly seen being affectionate with each other in public. Also Lindsay is known to go out of her way by making public appearances to support the lesser-known Samantha. Mumbai is not new to strange relationships between celebs. But, please, not yet in public.
