Madonna’s concert under scrutiny over green issues

Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet world tour has come under the scrutiny of environmental groups for not taking eco-friendly precautions. As per the findings of the website Carbonfootprint.com, the 45-date tour that started off from Cardiff, Wales on August 23, generated emissions, equal to that created by 160 Britons in an entire year. Having a large 250 member staff has also not been helpful to the environment, as they generate 1,080 tonnes of carbon while flying on commercial planes in addition to the 460 tonnes of from her heavy cargo.
