The Sessions Court has issued a notice to Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat and the management of a five star hotel in an obscene case filed against them.
Additional sessions judge S T Mahajan has directed the Bollywood actor and J W Marriot to file their replies to the notice by October 7.
The notices were sent in an obscenity case filed against Sherawat and J W Marriot by a social worker Vinod Jain.
Jain in his complaint had stated that on December 31, 2006, Sherawat had performed at the hotel in a skimpy attire.
According to the complainant, Sherawat was wearing a skin-colored dress, which was obscene and revealing.
