Hyderabad aerobics instructor Dinaz Vervatwala successfully completed her 26-hour marathon aerobics session today, setting a world record in the process.

City aerobics instructor and founder of the most popular name in aerobics classes in Hyderabad, Dinaz Vervatwala, successfully completed her 26-hour marathon aerobics session that she started at the Secunderabad Polo Grounds yesterday, and drew unflinching adulation from some of the biggest names around.
Performing on stage with shuffling groups of volunteers, Dinaz kept up with it for 26 hours in a row, smiling and energetic right till the end. Sporting a super-toned body that was beamed live across TV channels, the 40-something also provided inspiration to lakhs of women (and men) across the city and state suffering from weight and health issues about what they can aspire for.
The incredible feat of stamina was put in perspective by champion badminton player Saina Nehwal yesterday and megastar Chiranjeevi today. A practising athlete, Saina spoke of how she gets sapped by just a hour of practice, while Chiranjeevi raised that bar by saying it that it used to take just a minute of continuous dance steps to collapse in exhaustion.
The closing ceremony post the world-record feat had several dignitaries in attention, leading names among them being ex-CM Chandrababu Naidu and Chiranjeevi. Naidu spoke of how, as his wife's personal instructor, Dinaz inculcated in her exceptional discipline, while Chiranjeevi, equally effusive in his praise, said that she is responsible in a big way for improving health-consciousness in the city.
Dinaz's name will be in the next edition of the Guinness Book of World Records for this feat
